cronolog opens dos boxes

Hello,
I've installed apache 2.0.47 with cronolog 1.6.1 an a w2k prof. sp3 machine.
So if configure a virtual host to cycle the accesslog file in a given
(combined) format, defined in the virtual host container and after
restarting the apache, per virtualhost logging two dos boxes appear an the
desktop.
Has anybody the same expiriences or do anybody has an idea, how to omit
this?
