Cronolog and ssh

Hi,
I've noticed that when I start an Apache server that is using cronolog, the
shell I started it from hangs when I try to exit. Sending ~. forces ssh to
disconnect so I assume that the cronolog process is still somehow attached
to the terminal. Is there a way to fix this? It causes real problems when
you try to script a restart of multiple servers since the script will never
finish as it waits on the stuck ssh processes.
